The following rules and regulations
are designed for and shall govern this event. Participants agree
to comply and understand rules are intended as a guideline for
the conduct of the demos and in no way guarantee against injury
or death to drivers, pit helpers, spectators, or officials. All
rules will be enforced and if a question arises on any of these
rules, an official decision will be made and will be final and
binding for that car and all others. Rules subject to change day
of event
DECISIONS OF THE OFFICIALS WILL BE FINAL AND BINIDING

A. All drivers must be of legal driving age. 16 to 18 years of
age MUST have a parental consent for signed. Proof of age will
be required. Drivers license not required.
B. Officials reserve the right to accept or reject any and all
entries.
C. Only drivers, mechanics, etc. who sign insurance release
sheets will be allowed in the pit area. Minimum age in pit area
– 16 years of age with signed parental consent form. Proof of
age required. Drivers and officials only allowed in race area.
D. Competitors signing the insurance form and release sheets
acknowledge the following guidelines and agree to abide by them.
AUTOMOBILE REGULATIONS
A. Must be a hardtop car or station wagon. NO HEARSES, LIMOS,
CHECKERS, IMPERIALS, TRUCKS, JEEPS, OR 4 WHEEL DRIVES of any
year. NO PRE-1973 LINCOLNS.
B. All glass, lights, lenses, moldings, door handles, plastic
grills, etc. must be removed before arriving at track
C. ALL CARS MUST HAVE OPERATING SEAT BELTS OR CAR WILL NOT
COMPETE AND ENTRY MONEY WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. SEAT BELTS MUST BE
WORN DURING THE DEMO DERBY.
D. Factory gas take must be removed and smaller tank mounted in
driver’s compartment. Boat tank or fuel cell recommended.
Maximum size tank = 6.5 gallons. Take must be securely mounted
to the floor (it must not move when shaken). It may be metal or
plastic but it must not leak. If it is a marine tank it must
have fittings to attach the lines. NO CUTTING HOLES IN THE LID
AND SHOVING A HOLE THROUGH THE HOLES. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
E. Fuel tanks and batteries must be covered with a non-flammable
material.
F. Electric fuel pumps and transmission coolers allowed.
Electric fuel pumps must have emergency shut off.
G. Hoods and deck lids must be wired, chained, bolted, or all
thread (no larger than 1 inch). Hoods must have two holes to
help fight fires. Hoods must be open for inspection. Doors and
trunk lid can be welded solid, but trunk lid must have a 12 inch
by 12 inch inspection hole in the center. Doors may be wired,
chained, or welded. Any driver’s door coming open during
competition will result in immediate disqualification. No come
along connection.
H. Driver compartment should be reinforced for driver safety
with nothing extending through or outside the firewalls of the
drivers compartment or even with the back door on wagons and
must not attach to the frame.
I. Body mounts must remain in place or can be substituted with
washers stacked to the same height. This includes radiator
support. Bolts map be replaced, but should not be oversized.
Washers should be no more than 3 inches in diameter in any
direction and must not be on the bottom of the frame.
J. Remove all trailer hitches.
K. Suspension must be stock. No inverted spring shackles, adding
extra main leafs, or welding or bolting leaf springs. Home made
steering columns allowed. A knuckle in the steering column is
permitted. Trailing arms may be shortened or lengthened but not
doubled or braced.
L. Any 16 inch or smaller tire permitted. Liquid filled OK. NO
studs or valve stem guards. NO WHEEL WEIGHTS.
M. Radiators must remain in stock locations. NO added reserve
tanks. Radiator must be strapped or wired in. NO homemade or
reinforced radiator supports allowed. No added radiator
protection allowed.
N. Bumper shocks may be welded or chained. No added bracing.
O. Frame reinforcements: Do not plate over frame or factory
holes. No extra metal allowed to be added anywhere. No welding
on frame seams. Winning cars are subject to having the frames
drilled or torched for inspection. No welding on frame anywhere
except the bumper brackets. NO exceptions. No undercoating or
paint on frame.
P. Any motor allowed in any car.
Q. No electric fans permitted unless the care was produced with
one.
R. Anything may be removed from the vehicle.
S. All Freon must be removed from cars before arriving at track.
T. If the rules do not say you can do it, then do not do it
unless we give you permission.
U. ABSOLUTELY NO WHINING.
V. Numbers must be legible on driver and passenger doors and on
roof. THIS IS MANDATORY.
W. Number 9 wire or a bar must be attached from roof to firewall
in front of driver.
X. If cars are found to be illegal – no money will be refunded.
Cars should be brought legal. If you have any questions on any

MINI CAR REGULATIONS
Same as big cars except for:
Must be powered by 4-cylinders. No 4 wheel drives. Must e 102 or
less wheelbase. NO FRAME SHORTENING OR REAR END MOVING
PERMITTED.
BIG CARS AND MINI CARS CAN BE DISQUALIFIED FOR:
A. Using up 2-minute time limit.
B. Hitting drivers door. First time a warning; second time you
are out.
C. Driving off track to escape competition
D. Any fire not immediately put out. Officials will give drivers
benefit of doubt.
E. Refusing to obey orders of officials. This means drivers and
pit crew.
F. Holding another vehicle where it cannot move while another
makes contact
G. Sandbagging.
H. POSSESSING ALCOHOL OR DRUS ON GROUNDS. NO COOLERS – COOLERS
WILL BE CONFISCATED.
I. Using radio communication or headsets.
Pit passes are $10.00 each. Car and driver entry is $30.00 for
each car entered.
FEATURE for full-size cars will be made up as follows: If there
are 1 – 4 heats, the top 3 drivers will advance to the feature
event. It must be the same vehicle driven in heat. NO switching
car or driver. Top two running vehicles will receive a trophy.
Third place gets a free trip to the feature. Heats will end when
the third car is no longer running. A driver takes self our or
two-minute time limit is up.
