Areas of Competition & Pageant Day Schedule:

  • 4:00 pm – Registration for contestants. Doors open for contestants to move in. There is VERY limited space at the venue. There will be a changing area, but contestants should otherwise arrive ready for competition. Clothing racks will be provided. There will be no hair/makeup artists allowed on site due to space and restrictions. One person can help with bringing in wardrobe but cannot stay, and nobody will be allowed into the contestant area before/during the competition. We will have someone to help in the dressing area.
  • 5:00 – Interviews begin. Interviews are worth 25 pts. Traditional interview wear is required. The interview is panel style. Contestants will be standing, 3 minutes per contestant. Judges will have your application/bio during the interview, but not all questions will come from your bio. There will not be time between the interview and stage for any major hair/makeup changes. Please plan to be pageant ready for your interview. This year’s venue is a banquet hall. There is no spotlight or stage lighting.
  • 6:30 pm – Doors open.
  • At this point, each contestant’s designated number of audience members can come in. Tickets will be $10 per person. Please be prepared with the exact change. The exact number allowed per contestant will depend on the total number of contestants and will be announced after the deadline.
  • 7:00 pm – Pageant begins.  We will NOT be pausing between areas of competition. Please consider this when planning your hairstyling.
The emcee will read from the bio sheet during walks.
    • Introduction & OSQ- 15 pts. There is a sparkly theme for the opening. An introduction will begin with a parade of contestants. The walking pattern will be sent after the deadline. Each contestant will then individually introduce themselves (name, contestant #, and a short statement are allowed) and receive their on-stage question. On-stage questions will be contestant-specific based on topics listed in your bio.
    • Swim- 30 pts. Attire is a one-piece swimsuit in accordance with state guidelines. Walking pattern of your choice.
    • Evening Gown- 30 pts. Attire is a floor-length evening gown of your choice. Walking pattern of
      your choice.

Scoring and Winner Selection

    • The winner will be selected based on final scores.
    • Interview scores are used to break ties. If the interview score was also a tie, it is a judge’s decision.
    • Score sheets are not given out following the pageant, but feedback and judges’ comments are available upon request.
